besides the before mentioned birthday house show featuring blast motherfucking rag, there is also jazz night at bisbano’s featuring a good friend of mine named ed cousson on bass (fucking incredible musician), and a benefit for another buddy of mine, chase dugas at sadie’s. here is a copy/pasted description of the benefit from it’s facebook event page:
Back in september, the day I was graduating from college, my truck caught on fire with me underneth it. I was in the hospital(ICU) till the begining of January having 3 surgeries on my face and hands. I am having a benefit to cover part of the expenses of this unfortunate accident due to the fact I’ve been out of work and are temporally disabled. It will be night filled with great bands, friends and beer. Bands include[ ( Kid midi, dege legg(Santeria), Julian Primeaux (The Howdies), Souls on Monday, Jamie Kelley(Cracker Jackson)] plus more bands to be announced!!!!! Only $5 plus donations are greatly accepted!!!
so alright, there’s 3 shows right there, just tonight to pick from. you have jazz at bisbano’s, a punk rock house show birthday party, and benefit featuring several different types of music (what sadie’s does best). if you don’t make it out to one, it better be cause you have school work. actually i’m kidding, you nerdy asshole. get that shit out of the way and get your ass to one of these fine musical environments.
